জামালপুরে বঙ্গবন্ধু ও বঙ্গমাতা ফুটবল টুর্ণামেন্ট
জামালপুরের ইসলামপুরে জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান এবং বঙ্গমাতা শেখ ফজিলাতুন্নেছা মুজিব প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় গোল্ডকাপ ফুটবল টুর্নামেন্টের উপজেলা পর্যায়ের ফাইনাল খেলা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। প্রতিনিধি লিয়াকত হোসাইন লায়নের প্রতিবেদন-
উপজেলা শিক্ষা অফিস আয়োজিত বৃহস্পতিবার ইসলামপুর উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় মাঠে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে ফাইনাল খেলার উদ্বোধন এবং বিজয়ী ও রানার্স আপ দলের মাঝে পুরস্কার বিতরণ করেন ধর্ম প্রতিমন্ত্রী ফরিদুল হক খান এমপি।
উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা তানভীর হাসান রুমানের সভাপতিত্বে এতে উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক এড. আঃ সালাম,,শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তা ফেরদৌস হাসান,ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান আঃ খালেক আখন্দসহ প্রশাসনের কর্মকর্তা, জনপ্রতিনিধি, শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থী, অভিভাবকসহ স্থানীয় আওয়ামী লীগ নেতৃবৃন্দ এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
খেলায় বঙ্গবন্ধু গোল্ডকাপে পৌর এলাকার পশ্চিম ইসলামপুর সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় কে ১-০ গোলে পরাজিত করে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয় চিনাডুলী ইউনিয়নের গুঠাইল সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়.। বঙ্গমাতা গোল্ডকাপে নোয়ারপাড়া ইউনিয়নের রায়ের পাড়া সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়কে ট্রাইব্রেকারে ৩-২ গোলে পরাজিত করে। টুর্নামেন্টে উপজেলার ১শত ৭৫টি বিদ্যালয় অংশ গ্রহন করে।
