আরপিসিএল তাপ বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রে বাঙালি শ্রমিক অসন্তোষ

পটুয়াখালীর কলাপাড়ায় নির্মাধীন আরপিসিএল ১৩২০ মেগাওয়াট তাপ বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রে বেতন ভাতা নিয়ে শ্রমিক অসন্তোষের ঘটনায় শ্রমিকদের হামলায় নিরপত্তা কর্মীসহ অন্তত ২০ জন হয়েছে। ভাংচুর করা হয়েছে করা হয়েছে অফিসসহ একাধিক যানবাহন। আজ সোমবার সকাল সাড়ে নয়টার দিকে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। আহতদের মধ্যে শ্রমিক ওবায়দুল, শাহীন মোল্লা, নিরপত্তা গার্ড রাকিবুল ও জিদানকে উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য পটুয়াখালী হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয়েছে।
স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায়, বেতন ভাতা নিয়ে সকালে দফায় দফায় বিক্ষোভ শুরু করে শ্রমিকরা। এসময় তাপ বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রে কর্মরত পুলিশ ও নিরাপত্তাকর্মীরা বাঁধা দিলে শ্রকিমকরা তাদের উপর হামলা চালায় এবং চায়নাদের অফিস ভংচুর করে। পরে কলাপাড়া থানা পুলিশ গিয়ে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রনে আনে।
কলাপাড়া থানার ওসি আলী আহম্মদ জানান, বর্তমানে পরিস্থিতি পুলিশের নিয়ন্ত্রনে রয়েছে। শ্রমিক সঙ্গে বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র কর্তৃপক্ষের সমঝোতার আলোচনা চলছে।
