ফরিদপুরে ৫ ডাকাত আটক।

ফরিদপুর শহরের বাখুন্ডা বাজারে ডাকাতির ঘটনায় আরো ৫ ডাকাতকে আটক করেছে পুলিশ। এ নিয়ে ৩ দফায় মোট ১৫ ডাকাতকে আটক করলো পুলিশ।
এ নিয়ে বুধবার দুপুরে পুলিশ সুপারের কার্যালয়ে আয়োজিত প্রেস ব্র্রিফিংয়ে পুলিশ সুপার মোঃ শাহজাহান জানান, গত ২৭ মে বাখুন্ডা বাজারে দুর্ধর্ষ ডাকাতির ঘটনা ঘটে। বাজারের নাইটগার্ডকে বেঁধে ১৫/২০ জনের ডাকাত দলটি বাজারের ৬টি দোকান থেকে প্রায় চার লাখ টাকার মালামাল ডাকাতি করে নিয়ে যায়। পরে তথ্য প্রযুক্তির সহায়তায় ঢাকা থেকে দুই ডাকাতকে আটক করা হয়। তাদের দেয়া তথ্য মতে পুলিশ ও র্যাব অভিযান চালিয়ে আরও ৮ ডাকাতকে আটক করে। সর্বশেষ গত ৫ জুলাই ঢাকা ও নারায়নগঞ্জে অভিযান চালিয়ে নতুন করে ৫ ডাকাতকে আটক করা হয়।
তাদের কাছ থেকে ডাকাতির কিছু মালামাল ও একটি পিকআপ উদ্ধার করা হয়। বাকি ডাকাতদের গ্রেফতারে অভিযান চলছে বলে জানানো হয়।
